CONTRIBUTORS

Whether someone has contributed to Hemispheric Fit once or hundreds of times, their efforts are equally acknowledged and appreciated.

Linda is the founder of Hemispheric Fit.  This project is the result of her life-long desire to better understand the nature of conflict and exchange insights across cultures.  She sees amazing teachers in everyone she has ever known.  Linda holds certificates in Mediation & Conflict Resolution from UC Berkeley Extension and Palliative Care & Hospice from Seniors at Home

/Jewish Family & Children’s Services in San Francisco, California.  She is a graduate of Boston University and certified in TESOL through UC Irvine Extension.

In addition to writing, Linda enjoys teaching English, swimming, gardening, knitting and spinning wool.  She is bilingual in English and Spanish, and currently lives in Uruguay, one of her favorite places on Earth.

Linda Mirelez-Huca

Sol has worked for several years as a community counselor at Maccabi Buenos Aires.  She is fluent in Spanish and English.  Her passion for travelling, counseling and children led her to work as a counselor in the United States during the summer of 2018.

Sol studies Public Relations at the University of Business and Social Sciences in Buenos Aires, Argentina where she also lives.  One of her favorite places to visit is Punta del Este, Uruguay, where her beloved grandparents live.  Sol enjoys meeting new people from all over the world and dreams of one day living in her favorite city, New York.

Sol Wierzbinsky

Fabiana is the founder of Tennixise: tennis inspired fitness through mindful movement (www.tennixise.com).  She started playing tennis when she was just six years old and began competing in sanctioned tournaments at the age of eight.  Fabiana became a Top 10 national junior in her home country of Argentina.  When she was 17, she was awarded a full scholarship

to play Division I tennis at the University of Toledo, Ohio in the United States.

 

For more than 40 years, Fabiana has been involved in tennis as a player, parent, and certified tennis and fitness professional.  She enjoys making tennis easier to learn and using the sport to bring families together.  Fabiana is passionate about promoting healthy lifestyles through fitness, which is what inspired her to create Tennixise.  She lives in Long Island, New York, but her heart

is in many places because she has family all over the world.
